Hi, I'm Candi — the heart and hands behind BeadCandi.

BeadCandi began with a spark of defiance — jewellery shouldn't live in a safe. It should live on you. After my own jewellery was stolen twice, something shifted in me. I realised that jewellery isn't meant to be locked away for "special occasions." It's meant to be worn, enjoyed, lived, and loved — every single day.

My love of beading started when I was young, making necklaces and bracelets for family and friends. Years later, that same spark came back — but this time with purpose, healing, and grounding energy woven into every piece. And so BeadCandi was born, right here in South Africa.

Today, every BeadCandi piece is handmade by me, using a carefully curated mix of:

I use stainless steel where possible, gold-plated copper, high quality beaded elastic, and all fasteners / spacers.

Each bead carries meaning — whether grounding, calming, confidence-boosting, or heart-opening. Every bracelet, choker, and gift is designed to help you express your mood, support your energy, and celebrate your uniqueness. My intention, always, is to make you feel happy.

🐾 Meet Tigger — Chief Quality Inspector

No BeadCandi studio session is complete without my cat Tigger. He's my constant companion while I bead — always nearby, always curious, and absolutely convinced that every string of beads was made just for him to play with. Whether he's supervising from his favourite chair or "helping" by batting beads across the floor, Tigger brings joy and laughter to every creative session. He's not just my bead buddy — he's the unofficial mascot of BeadCandi. 🐱✨
