Stones & Meanings
At Beadcandi, we believe that what you wear is more than just jewellery — it's an extension of who you are in this moment. From the grounding warmth of natural wood to the cool clarity of gemstone, every bead we choose has a story, a feeling, a frequency. Semi-precious stones have been worn for centuries — not just for their beauty, but for what they bring to the wearer. Here are the stones you'll find woven into Beadcandi pieces, and the energy each one carries.
Our Materials & Their Meaning
At beadcandi, we believe that what you wear is more than just jewellery — it's an extension of who you are in this moment. Every piece we create is thoughtfully crafted from a carefully curated selection of materials, each carrying its own unique energy and vibration.
When you wear beadcandi, you're not just accessorising. You're setting an intention. You're choosing your mood, your energy, your vibe — for the day, for the night, for the moment you're in.

The Stones we Love
Why some stones and materials change and include "Perfect Imperfections"
Wooden Beads
Wood is a natural material, and that is part of its charm! Because it comes from real trees, it may have tiny dents, slight variations in colour, natural grain patterns and small surface textures. These aren't flaws – they're authentic features that make each bead unique.
Hematite's Colour Variations
Hematite is naturally a dark steel-grey metallic stone. However, many Hematite beads on the market are coated or plated to create beautiful colours such as gold, silver, rainbow/green-silver or metallic blue. These coatings react to perfume, water, creams, lotions, sweat and humidity. These may cause the coating to fade or change colour. Think of it as normal wear that adds character.
Opals & Pearls
Opals and Pearls are more delicate than other stones. Direct sprays of perfume, deodorant, hairspray or lotions can dull their shine, affect their natural lustre, and cause surface clouding over time. To keep them glowing, put your jewellery on after perfume/lotions. Wipe them gently after wearing and avoid submerging them in water. Their beauty lasts longer when they're treated gently – just like little treasures.
